The Butterfield Blues Band
April 11, 1970
(relatively small crowd)

Underground newspaper Hundred Flowers had an adversarial relationship with the Depot from the start, it seems. In its April 17, 1970 issue, there was this:
the decor: amazingly tasteless
the room: amazingly tiny
the floor: amazingly crowded
the liquor: amazingly costly
the sound: amazingly loud
Cocker & Butterfield: amazing!
